Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Set. Your. Rate.™ (the “Service”), operated by SYR Management Services LLC (“SYR,” “we,” “us”), collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Without an account: estimates you make stay on your own device. We don’t receive them.
- Account information: your email address and the business details you enter for your quotes.
- Information you enter: jobs, estimates, customers’ names and contact details, property details, photos, payments, expenses, and notes.
- Signatures: when your customer signs or declines a quote or change order, we store their typed name, their signature, and the date and time.
- Billing information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive plan, subscription status, and billing dates. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Technical information: basic data needed to run the app, such as sign-in sessions and error logs.
The Service does not track your location.
You are responsible for having the right to upload the photos you upload, including photos that may show people, job sites, or property.
2. How we use it
- To run the Service: saving your jobs, calculating prices and money summaries, and showing documents to the customers you send them to.
- To send account emails: sign-up confirmations, password resets, and important notices about your account or billing.
- To support you, keep the Service secure, and fix problems.
We do not sell personal information, we do not contact your customers, and we do not use Your Data for advertising.
3. Who can see your information
- You: only you can see your account’s jobs, customers, photos, and money information.
- Your customers: a customer who has the link you send can see that one quote or change order, including any photos you attached to it.
- Service providers that help us run the Service, only for that purpose: Supabase (database, sign-in, and photo storage), Netlify (website hosting), Stripe (payments and tax), and Resend (email delivery). To estimate drive times in the planner, job addresses and your home base are looked up on OpenStreetMap’s free map service; no names or prices are sent. Fonts and app code libraries load from Google Fonts and jsDelivr.
- Legal requirements: if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
- Business transfer: your account information may transfer with the Service in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, change of ownership of SYR, or a sale of the Service or of all or substantially all of SYR’s assets or equity. A change in who owns SYR does not, by itself, require your consent. We will email the address on your account at least 30 days before the transfer, unless a shorter period is required by the transaction or by law, in which case we will give as much notice as is reasonably possible. As a condition of the transfer, the new owner must assume these commitments and the then-current Privacy Policy. If you do not want to continue with the new owner, you can cancel and export or download your data instead.
4. Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections. Each account’s data is separated by database security rules, and photos are stored privately. Customer links use long, random codes that can’t be guessed. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information while you have access. If your trial or subscription ends, saved jobs, expenses, photos, and signed documents are deleted 30 days later. Account and billing records may be kept longer where the law requires it.
6. Your choices
- You can edit or delete jobs, customers, photos, and expenses in the app, and download your jobs at any time.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information or ask us to delete it by emailing us.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. We will honor those requests as required by law. Email support@syrresults.com.
7. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. If a change is significant, we will notify you by email before it takes effect.
